It would be helpful if the Democrats acted in the best interests of the world, and their party, and chilled out just a bit in their public abandonment about Iraq, and instead confined it to the backrooms of Washington. Yes, we all want to get out of there, but it only supports and encourages the Iranians and our other enemies for the Dems to be declaring, in public, ultimatums for withdrawal. The slaughter of the Republicans in the election put all the pressure on the President that he needs to work on an exit strategy, lest the Republicans be forced to exit the White House in 2008.
